William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream

A Visual Interpretation

Project Summary

This information design project is a visualization of one of William Shakespeare's most famous plays: A Midsummer Night's Dream. While experiencing the play in action is easy, reading the text on the other hand is a more complicated venture. The project is a graphical interpretation of the play, revealing plots and themes and interactions in a visual way so that while reading the text users can understand Shakespeare's complicated masterpiece. This will allow users to enjoy the play without having to sit in a theater and watch it in action.

There are two formats of the infographic: web and print. Shown here is the print version of the main page and Act I Scene I. In this day and age of technology, a piece such as this should exist on the web for people who enjoy reading the play as well as studying it in a school setting.
