Brand History, Vision, & Key Values
Q is a brand name of a fragrance company which was established in 2016 and based on the extensive international traveling of Lisa Quinley, graphic designer, living in Paris at the time. Influenced by the multitude of magical places she has both lived in and visited throughout her life, she found her voice in the unique aromas and landscape of each locale–from the silver-star-covered valley of Langtang in Nepal, to the sand-covered beaches of Cambodia’s Kep, to the myriad hues of maple leaves in a Vermont fall in the United States. The project initially began as a prompt in her Identity Design course at Parsons the New School of Design where she developed a company which focuses on the beauty of experiencing new cultures and specializes in all products aromatic–from colognes and perfumes to home fragrances to candles.
Brand Message & Copywriting Style
Q aromas–ranging in form from colognes and perfumes to home fragrances to candles and more–are inspired by a variety of locations. From the silver-star-covered valley of Langtang in Nepal to the sand-covered beaches of Cambodia’s Kep to the myriad hues of maple leaves in Vermont fall in the United States. Explore and experience the magical world from the comfort of home.
