little q
Rebranding of the "acorn" identity system
Brand History, Vision, & Key Values
little q is a rebranding of the name "acorn" which was born in 2015 and based on a senior thesis design project developed by Lisa Sakai Quinley, graphic designer, living in New York City. Influenced by the animal kingdom, design, and international development since she was a child, she found her voice in anthropomorphism of animals beginning with her collection of stuffed toy hippos. The project initially started as a children's toy brand specializing in the design, development, and fabrication of fun, approachable, educational products for children on the topic of gender equality, with dreams of branching out into additional areas.
